Join us in recognizing another #BroussardSuccessStory of local business owners who have taken advantage of the opportunities available in our community to help their businesses thrive.
Marilyn Pepper Brunt and Janet Pepper Ray, sisters and owners of Bonjour Gifts and Decor, are carrying on the tradition that was once started by Wendy Lane 10 years ago in Broussard of selling fine French antiques and treasures. Relocating Bonjour back to its original roots and occupying the historic mid-century house located downtown in the heart of Broussard was an opportunity Marilyn and Janet couldn’t miss. Each room has a theme. They support and sell work by local artists. Their Gentleman’s room is filled with wine, cigars and gifts. They have a Ladies’ room with apparel, purses and jewelry. The Baby room has children’s clothes, jewelry and gifts, and they also have kitchenware, candles, and bath & body items.
Marilyn says they choose to do business in Broussard because “Broussard is home for most of us and holds a special place in all of our hearts.”
Their favorite place to visit with their families in Broussard is Zoosiana – Zoo of Acadiana. Janet says, “It’s such a special gem in Acadiana and a great Broussard attraction!”
